Uber is here to whisk away residents in style and so it was fitting that Chennai's home boy Karun Chandhok, also India's very own Formula One racer, got the first peek of Uber in the city. He opened up the app in Kotturpuram, requested a ride and minutes later a BMW 5 Series was at his doorstep. He took the time to soak in the Uber experience, and then whizzed away to a relaxing afternoon on the town.

So whether it's getting to Khader Nawaz Khan road for a fancy dinner, a Carnatic music concert at Music Academy or just unwinding at Marina Beach, Chennaites deserve an easy and elegant way to get around their bustling city, and Uber is here to deliver.
